In my work as a visual artist the audience is always present. Sometimes as object, sometimes as subject, but always as a starting point for a visual dialogue.
I finished the Netherlands Film and Television Academy in 2004 with a degree in Interactive Media and Visual Effects. In the following years I concentrated on various techniques for visual interaction, resulting in temporary video installations in and around my hometown of Amsterdam. In recent years my work has shifted to more permanent installations for public spaces. My work was present at various festivals around Europe (Mapping Festival, Geneva / TodaysArt, The Hague). The light installation Bijlmer Moodwall, located in a passageway in Amsterdam received a Dutch Design Award, for best product in public space.
